Synthflow alternatives: five voice AI options with public pricing

For businesses that want a voice agent without an enterprise contract.

Prices taken from each company's own pricing page, checked on 3 October 2026.

Short answer: Synthflow's pricing page lists only enterprise contracts from $30,000 a year. If that is more than you need, the alternatives with public prices are SpeakEdge from $49 a month with setup included, Retell AI and Vapi if you have a developer, Bland AI for one flat rate per minute, and Bolna for Indian languages.

Why do businesses look for a Synthflow alternative?

The usual reason is price and the way you buy. On 3 October 2026, Synthflow's pricing page showed one option: an enterprise contract starting at $30,000 a year, scoped around call volume, concurrency, telephony setup, integrations, security needs and launch support. The page listed no self-serve plan, no free trial and no per-minute rate.

That suits a large company with a procurement process. A dental practice, a real estate office or a small agency usually wants to start this week, spend tens or hundreds of dollars a month, and see whether it works before committing to a year.

Every alternative in this table can be started without talking to a sales team. The per-minute platforms charge for usage and leave the building to you. SpeakEdge's monthly price includes the setup.

SpeakEdge: an AI receptionist set up for you

SpeakEdge is an AI receptionist and voice agent for businesses that do not want to build one. It answers on your website, your phone line and WhatsApp, asks the questions your sales team would ask, books the appointment, and sends you each lead with a recording, a transcript and a summary.

The Starter plan is $49 a month for one AI assistant and 40 conversations, where a conversation is about 5 minutes. The Growth plan is $99 a month for three assistants, 80 conversations, 50+ languages and two CRM integrations. Both include full onboarding and setup of the assistant, and both start with a 14-day free trial with no credit card. In India the same plans are ₹3,999 for 600 minutes and ₹7,999 for 1,200 minutes, and the agent speaks 11 Indian languages including Hindi and English.

Two limits to know. Per minute, SpeakEdge costs more in US dollars than a platform you assemble yourself, because the setup is in the price. And the Starter plan is English only; other languages start on Growth.

Pick SpeakEdge if you run a clinic, a real estate office, a school or a similar business, you have no developer, and what you want is enquiries answered and qualified at any hour. See SpeakEdge pricing.

Retell AI: one per-minute price, built by you

Retell AI quotes one per-minute price, $0.07 to $0.31, that covers its voice infrastructure, the voice and the model. Phone calls in the United States add $0.015 a minute. There is no monthly fee, new accounts get $10 in free credits, and 20 simultaneous calls are included, with more at $8 each per month. Retell also runs chat agents, from $0.002 a message.

Pick Retell AI if you or your agency will build the agent and you want fewer separate bills.

Vapi: for developers who want every choice

Vapi charges $0.05 a minute for its platform and passes the other providers through at cost. Its pricing page lists transcription at about 1 cent a minute, the model at 1 to 5 cents and the voice at 1.5 to 2.4 cents, so a typical call lands between 8 and 14 cents a minute before any phone carrier charge. New accounts get $5 in credits. Paid support packages are $29 a month for Core and from $999 a month for Pro, and extra simultaneous calls are $10 per line per month.

Pick Vapi if you have a developer and want to pick the model, the voice and the phone carrier yourself.

Bland AI: one flat price per minute

Bland AI charges a single rate that includes the model, transcription and voice. The Start plan is $0.14 a minute with no monthly fee, limited to 100 calls a day and 10 at once. The Build plan is $299 a month plus $0.12 a minute, with 2,000 calls a day and 50 at once.

Pick Bland AI if you want to know the cost of a call before it happens, or you run large calling campaigns.

Bolna: build it yourself for Indian languages

Bolna lists pay-as-you-go at 6 cents a minute, or ₹5.52. Its bundles are $300 for 6,500 minutes and $500 for 12,000 minutes. It supports more than ten Indian languages, including Hindi, Hinglish, Tamil and Telugu, and connects to Twilio, Plivo and Vobiz for phone lines. New accounts get $5 in credits.

Pick Bolna if your callers speak Hindi or a regional language and you have someone technical to build and maintain the agent.

When does Synthflow still make sense?

Synthflow makes sense if you are a large organisation, you expect high call volume, and you want a vendor to scope telephony, integrations and security with you under an annual contract. Its pricing page describes exactly that kind of engagement.

Look elsewhere if you want to see a price before a sales call, start small, or pay month to month.
